Atty. Mariquina is a graduate of Philippine Arts from the University of the Philippines Manila. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree at the Arellano University School of Law and passed the bar in 2022.

Before landing a career in the government service, she was a writer for the Manila Bulletin. She is currently in government service developing programs for MSMEs to promote their products and services in the international market. She has more than a decade of experience in industry / business development and operations in the domestic and export markets. She managed and spearheaded Philippine expositions with trade, investment and tourism agenda.

She pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer while serving the government. When she finally became a lawyer, her extensive exposure in the business community came in handy as corporate law practice became the natural leaning of her practice of law. Her law portfolio includes experience in litigation in Labor Law and Employment, contract review and management as well as assistance to foreign companies in their business set-up in the Philippines.
